The next evening at the Lorelei Hotel in Porthcawl will be at 7.30pm on Tuesday 20th June, 2017. For this meeting the challenge has been set by Linda Kennedy. Linda says: “Write a poem with the following words either as part or all of the title, the theme of the poem, or simply occurring within the body of the text: “Under my Skin”.

P+P evenings are held on the third Tuesday of every month except December. The session after this is Tuesday 18th July, 2017 when we will be joined by my American friends Carol and Philip Smith. Whoever wins Linda’s challenge will be setting and judging the challenge for this meeting. that challenge will be forwarded to Carol who I have no doubt will be submitting an entry. Should she win arrangements are in hand for her to set and judge your entries from her home in sunny California.

Attendances have been low recently so I would ask that you prioritise the July meeting so that we get a good turnout for our guests. It would be great to hear at the June meeting of any special ideas you may have for making the July meeting a date to remember.
